this is a test post for experimenting with how to host this blog! I thought about (potentially) using another site to host but I'd rather just try to do things old school.

plus I have been really enjoying the challenge of learning how to code. I'm 27 and have no real experience doing this, so it's interesting to see how computers work from the inside. I've always wanted to know, and now I'm knowing!
